Our Platform

Everyone will benefit from a more equitable, economically strong, and cleaner Connecticut if we ensure our land use laws are more inclusive by design. We must expand housing diversity.  We must increase housing supply. And we must improve processes that thwart good development. In our first year, we supported Public Act 21-29, which passed the Legislature by overwhelming margins. For the 2022 short legislative session, we’re supporting the following 3 areas! And we need your help!

EQUITABLE TRANSIT-ORIENTED COMMUNITIES

MORE SENSIBLE LOT SIZES (i.e. MINIMUM LOT SIZE REFORM)

SIMPLIFYING ZONING BUREAUCRACY

Here’s Our One-Pager Summarizing Our Agenda!

We’ve developed a one-pager summarizing our legislative agenda! Please circulate it to your legislators, colleagues, and friends and show your support. Download it in PDF by using the button below.

Note on Scope: We’ve been asked why we don’t include housing funding, vouchers, subsidies, or property tax reform in our scope. We applaud those tackling these issues! We’re trying to do our part by focusing like a laser on ONE specific, technical aspect of the segregation problem — land use laws. We truly believe that improving these laws can have lasting, positive impacts, whether funding and tax systems change or not.
